Its Friday of GREEN week and the perfect time to share the vibrant, 'Chawton Leaf' wallpaper in the House's Dining Parlour. Installed last year, it was re-created from a fragment found hidden behind a cupboard. Its bright 'arsenic' green colour was popular in the 19th century, designed to help bring the outdoors inside.
